ACL only operates within the USA. We have no more than 200 passenger vessels that create a one of a kind small ship experience. With newly constructed vessels being added to our fleet, we are now accepting applications for our shipboard management positions for our 2021 season!   As the Housekeeping Manager with American Cruise Lines, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our ship’s cleanliness, maintaining brand standards, and exceeding guest expectations in the staterooms as well as the public areas. Other responsibilities include training and coaching the housekeeping team, room inspections, as well as handling any customer service requests. This is a guest facing position, in which you will be continually interacting with guests during their cruise. This position is a great way to build on a foundation in hospitality with option to grow within the management team onboard. Ashore, the Cruise & Excursions Director engages guests in each destination through a series of shoreside excursions, explorations and adventures while managing all shore excursions and transfer operations, external vendor/operator communications, premium excursion upselling and inventory management. This role has the highest level of guest interaction and can be very demanding, with long hours. The Assistant Hotel Manager is responsible for service excellence and superior guest satisfaction which is a critical measure of success. The Assistant Hotel Manager is accountable for the performance of all Hotel Department crew members, particularly the hotel officers and executive chef. The Assistant Hotel Manager is expected to provide gracious hospitality to the guests while being safe, courteous, professional, and efficient.   The Assistant Hotel Manager reports to the Hotel Manager.

American Cruise Lines (ACL), the largest USA flagged cruise line in the United States, is looking to add Hotel General Managers to our shipboard team as we gear up for our 2021 season. ACL only operates within the USA. We have no more than 200 passenger vessels that create a one of a kind small ship experience. With newly constructed vessels being added to our fleet, we are now accepting applications for our shipboard management positions for our 2021 season!   Hotel General Managers are leaders on all American Cruise Lines ships. As General Manager, you will lead the hotel and food service teams, while ensuring our guests are provided with the highest level of service in a clean and safe environment. The entire hotel department will report directly to you as we travel the rivers and waterways of the country. This is a traveling position that will immerse you in the hospitality, food service, and cruise industries.   Your primary duties include overseeing the day-to-day hotel operations and onboard food services, as well coordinating onshore events. Other responsibilities include coaching and training the hotel team and establishing collaborative relationships among team members. At all times you must ensure that our company policies are applied and upheld in a consistent manner.
